Tri-Tech students come to Olympia to build tiny houses for homeless vets

In this week’s video update, Sen. Sharon Brown, R-Kennewick, welcomes six students and their instructors from the Tri-Tech Skills Center, who were in Olympia this week to help build tiny houses for homeless veterans.

Tri-Tech partnerspartners with our local high schools to offer advanced technical and professional training. This tuition free training is available to all area public, private, and home-schooled students age 16-20 who have yet to receive a high school diploma.

The goal at Tri-Tech is successful job placement or continuing education for students.
